Located in a beautiful secluded valley just outside of Frankfort, Kentucky, Leeland Valley (formerly Leeland Country Day Camp) is situated on a fifty-acre farm with grassy fields, ravines, and a flowing creek surrounded by wooded hills. This serene outdoor setting plays a major role in our programs.

Leeland was opened in 1988 to give children the opportunity to spend their summers in the natural world.  The goal of  Leeland has always been to connect children and adults with our home, the Earth, in the hope that their outdoor experiences will make them better caretakers of our planet.  We also teach the importance of respecting and celebrating the human family and emphasize high morals.
To give more people of all ages a place to enjoy the great outdoors, our program now includes field trips, a teams course, and a place for social gatherings and retreats.

Come see and experience another special place in Kentucky!
